The 1998 batch of KITS Warangal celebrated their Silver Jubilee Reunion. The President of KITSWAA- Hyderabad Chapter, C Sridhar Reddy, spoke about how they have been supporting the current students by organizing seminars and workshops on emerging technical trends, as well as industrial visits. They have also provided new lab equipment for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Sridhar Reddy mentioned that KITSWAA has 20,000 students and shared his belief that mistakes are valuable opportunities for learning and growth. He stated that it is important to reflect on our past mistakes to visualize a better future.

The Principal of KITSW, Prof K Ashoka Reddy, expressed his admiration for the alumni members who have become CEOs, entrepreneurs, scientists, and engineers. He emphasized their focus on producing engineers who are ready for the industry and thanked the alumni for their support in preparing the students.

Prof Reddy also mentioned that the alumni donated Rs 2.95 lakh to establish an IoT lab in the Department of ECE. Over 300 alumni members, including the 1998 batch, attended the reunion. Rajendra Prasad (CE), Dharavath Panthula (ME), Ramesh (EEE), and Anupama (CSE- KITSW first batch student) from the 1998 batch were present. In addition, several professors were felicitated during the event.

Former Rajya Sabha member and KITSW Chairman, Capt V Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P Narayana Reddy, and former MLA V Sathish Kumar greeted the alumni members.
