Hyderabad: A new development has taken place in the Sandhya Theatre stampede investigation. The Chikkadpally police have arrested Antony, the personal bouncer of actor Allu Arjun, in connection with the case. Authorities believe Antony may have been involved in triggering the chaos that led to the tragic incident.
Allu Arjun, who has already been named as “A11” in the case, was earlier arrested but later granted interim bail. The investigation is still ongoing, with new updates continuing to emerge.
On December 24, Allu Arjun appeared at the Chikkadpally Police Station for questioning. He was summoned after receiving a notice from the police the day before. The inquiry was overseen by Central Zone DCP, with ACP Ramesh Kumar and CI Raju leading the process.
The questioning lasted for nearly two and a half hours. Allu Arjun’s lawyer, Ashok Reddy, was also present during the session. After completing the questioning and required paperwork, the actor was expected to leave the police station.
The case remains under active investigation, and further actions will depend on the findings from the ongoing proceedings.
