    Resolution Passed to Install Ambedkar’s Statue in Aiza

    A meeting was held in Aiza Municipality, Jogulamba Gadwal District, to discuss the installation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue. The event was organized by the Ambedkar Reinstallation Committee and included leaders from various political and social organizations. After considering public opinion, the meeting decided to place the statue in the middle of the road divider at a designated circle.

    Leaders Support the Decision

    Several prominent leaders supported the resolution, including Nagar Kurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, former Alampur MLA Sampath Kumar, Alampur MLA Vijayudu, and MLC Challa Venkata Ramireddy. They emphasized that all social groups in Aiza Mandal should participate in the reinstallation process to ensure unity and inclusivity.

    Action Plan to Be Finalized on March 29, 2025

    A follow-up meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Aiza Market Yard. During this meeting, leaders and community members will come together to finalize an action plan for installing the statue.

    Broad Public Participation

    The meeting saw participation from local residents, democratic activists, and leaders from various social and political organizations. Representatives from caste-based organizations were also present, showing widespread support for the initiative.
