AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi has raised concerns about the limited time given for discussions on the State Budget. He questioned why the government allocated only four days for multiple discussions and wondered if the session was being treated as a mere formality.

Speaking during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s address, Akbaruddin criticized the government for procedural delays in the Assembly. He warned the current administration not to repeat the mistakes of the previous government. He also urged the government to maintain democratic norms and ensure transparency in Assembly proceedings.

Akbaruddin pointed out that the House was initially adjourned for 15 minutes but reconvened after four hours. He said such delays set a bad example. He also questioned the suspension of BRS MLA G Jagadish Reddy, arguing that proper procedures were not followed. He reminded the Assembly that in the past, floor leaders were consulted whenever disturbances occurred.
