Gadwal: Employees working in Single Window Societies previously stayed in the same position until retirement. However, with the introduction of Government Order 44, these employees now have job security along with opportunities for transfers and promotions. This was shared by Pothula Madhusudhan Reddy, President of the Aija Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society.
Reddy was speaking at a farewell event on Saturday for staff assistant Bhimarjun Reddy, who has been transferred to Gattu Single Window. During the event, he highlighted the positive changes in the cooperative society.
Four years ago, the Aija Single Window Society had only six employees. Today, it has expanded to a team of 20, which has not only boosted employment but also significantly increased the society’s revenue.
The society has adopted innovative practices to support farmers and strengthen its financial position. These include the establishment of supermarkets and businesses dealing in pesticides and fertilizers. Such initiatives have played a vital role in the society’s growth.
Looking ahead, Reddy announced plans to introduce a gold loan scheme and provide small loans to petty traders. These initiatives are expected to launch before the end of the financial year.
Reddy attributed the society’s success and recognition in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district to the dedication of its staff. He praised their hard work and commitment, noting that they treat the society as their own, which has helped establish its prestigious reputation.
The farewell event was attended by notable figures, including DCCB Supervisors Ramanjaneyulu and Ravi Kumar, Secretary Mallesh, and staff members such as Jeevan, Srinivas, Anjaneyulu, Vijay, Bhakta Prahlad, Hari, Raju, Srikanth, Kalavathi, Lavanya, Krishnaveni, Sandhya, Sirisha, and others.
