An integrated health camp was organized by the Telangana State AIDS Control Society at the Government Science Degree College in Nagarkurnool district. The event aimed to educate students and faculty about HIV/AIDS, including how it spreads, ways to prevent it, and control measures.
As part of the program, an awareness session was conducted where participants learned important information about HIV/AIDS. Experts explained the facts and cleared any misconceptions about the disease.
After the session, rapid HIV/AIDS diagnostic tests were conducted for students and faculty. Once the tests were completed, the reports were distributed to the participants.
The event was attended by College Principal Anjaiah, Disha Convener Shivashankar, Bangarayya, faculty members, and students. Many participants shared that the program helped them gain valuable knowledge about HIV/AIDS.
Organizers highlighted the importance of such health camps, stating that more similar programs should be held to spread awareness and eliminate myths about the disease in society.
