Temperatures Drop Sharply in Agency Areas

The temperature in Agency areas is falling day by day, causing significant changes in the daily lives of residents. Over the past few days, many parts of the district have recorded temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. In Kumaram Bhim district, Sirpur (U) experienced a minimum temperature of 6.1 degrees Celsius early on Saturday. Other areas, such as Tiryani Centre, recorded 7.1 degrees Celsius, followed by Kerameri at 8.3 degrees Celsius, Dhanora village at 8.8 degrees Celsius, Wankidi mandal centre at 9.7 degrees Celsius, and Kagaz Nagar at 10.1 degrees Celsius. The cold intensity is increasing in other regions as well.

The cold weather is creating severe difficulties for the residents. Children and the elderly, in particular, are taking extra precautions to protect themselves from the harsh conditions. Many individuals are also experiencing breathing problems due to the extreme cold.

Local businesses are adjusting their working hours because of the weather. Most shops and establishments now open at 10 a.m. and close by 7 p.m. As a result, urban and mandal centres appear deserted during the evenings. To stay warm, many families are lighting campfires in front of their homes.
