Meghan Markle went for a hike with friends Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak in California over the weekend. A photo of the hike showed her in casual activewear bottoms, a blue top, and brown hiking shoes. She skipped King Charles’ coronation, which Prince Harry attended alone. Meghan stayed in California to celebrate their son Archie’s fourth birthday and avoid any awkward interactions with her in-laws. She went on a 40-minute hike from her $15 million home with her friends while Prince Harry stayed with their children. Meghan seemed to try to hide herself with a scarf, sunglasses, and a hat during the hike.
Prince Harry and Meghan quit royal duties in 2020 and have since been critical of the monarchy. According to royal biographer Omid Scobie, Meghan skipped the coronation to “protect her peace.”
