Enhancements at Vemulawada Temple Goshala
Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA, Adi Srinivas, announced new steps to improve facilities at the Vemulawada Shri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple Goshala. On Saturday, a ceremony was held at the temple’s Tippapur Goshala to mark the beginning of construction for a new CC road and drainage system. This project is being funded with Rs 61 lakh.
In addition to the road and drainage work, three new sheds, which cost Rs 66 lakh to build, were officially opened. There was also a ceremony for the construction of two more sheds at the Vemulawada Jatara Ground, which will cost Rs 50 lakh.
MLA Srinivas, along with the Collector and Temple Executive Officer (EO), planted Kadamba saplings around the temple pond. During the event, Srinivas highlighted the significance of offering bulls to the lord at the Vemulawada Rajanna temple, a practice many devotees partake in.
Following the directions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister of Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, a committee was formed to manage the bulls donated by devotees. These bulls are being given to poor farmers. MLA Srinivas assured that efforts are being made to provide these bulls with quality feed, green grass, and advanced medical care.
As part of the Vana Mahotsavam, a tree plantation program will take place on the temple grounds. Trees that have a connection with the temple will be chosen for this initiative.
MLA Srinivas expressed his commitment to developing the Rajanna temple in various aspects. He pointed out that Rs 50 crore has been allocated for this purpose in the recent budget. The event was attended by Temple EO Vinod Reddy, EE Rajesh, DE Raghunandan, Municipal Vice Chairman Bingi Mahesh, Vemulawada Urban Tehsildar Mahesh Kumar, and others.
