Collector Encourages Students to Apply for Admissions in Government Gurukuls
Nagar Kurnool Collector, Badavath Santosh, has urged students to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for admissions in government Gurukuls. These schools, known for their quality education, are seen as a pathway to a bright future. He announced that a Common Entrance Test will be conducted on February 23, 2025, for admissions into English-medium Gurukuls for the academic year 2025-26.
Students interested in joining Gurukuls can apply online at https://tgcet.cgg.gov.in. The last date to submit applications is February 1, 2025. Applicants must have important documents ready, including a caste certificate number, income certificate number, Aadhaar card number, birth certificate, and a recent photograph.
To help students and parents with obtaining these certificates, a special help desk has been set up at the Collectorate office. This desk will operate daily from 10 AM to 5 PM to assist with any issues or questions related to the application process.
Admissions are open for 5th grade in SC, ST, BC, and general Gurukuls. Additionally, there are vacant seats available for 6th to 9th grades in SC and ST Gurukuls. Students can also apply for 9th grade admissions at the Social Welfare Gurukul in Gowlidoddi and for 8th grade at Schools of Excellence (SOEs).
Students and parents are encouraged to apply early and make use of the resources provided to ensure a smooth application process.
