372 police officers suspended on orders of Haryana minister

Chandigarh: The Home Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij, has taken an extraordinary step by instructing the Director General of Police, S.S. Kapur, to suspend 372 investigating officers. The reason behind this action is their failure to handle cases in a timely manner. Vij stated that this decision was made in the best interest of the public. He conveyed this message to the DGP through a letter, highlighting the need for immediate action.
