The Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad saw over 30,000 visitors on Sunday, a popular day for family outings and the end of the summer holiday season. Families from the city, state, and tourists came to the zoo to see wild animals.
Despite the large crowd, zoo officials managed to prevent any incidents. They opened extra ticket counters and showed online bookings on screens. Additional facilities like water units, shelters, and mobile patrols were also provided to ensure a smooth experience for visitors.
Dr. Sunil S Hiremath, the Director of the Zoo, thanked everyone for choosing to spend their Sunday at the zoo. A short movie on wildlife conservation was shown to educate visitors about the park’s breeding programs.
