2K Walk organised by Institute of Genetics, OU in Hyderabad

The Institute of Genetics at Osmania University organised a 2K walk on their campus in Begumpet to celebrate World Environment Day. The event aimed to remind people about the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. World Environment Day is an opportunity for people to address issues like climate change, deforestation, pollution, biodiversity loss, and sustainable development. Governments, organisations, and individuals are encouraged to come together and take action on these pressing environmental issues.

During the event, respected people planted trees on the campus to show their commitment to maintaining a green environment. They also talked about the significance of minimising plastic usage and encouraged students and participants to contribute actively to environmental conservation efforts.
