Pulsus Group has announced the successful start of pre-meetings for the G20 Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Summit series. These meetings took place in Zurich, Switzerland, and Rome, Italy on July 17 and 18. The discussions brought together global leaders in primary healthcare and stem cell research.

During their visit to Pulsus HQ in Hyderabad, Vinay Tendulkar and Dr. Sandesh Yadav shared their insights on India’s role in promoting affordable and accessible healthcare worldwide. They praised the value of these summits and expressed their support for the innovative platforms designed for transformative change.

Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, the convenor and architect of the summit, expressed his gratitude to Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for their support in driving these global initiatives. Their commitment aligns with the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will guide India’s role as the G20 chair in 2023.

The pre-meeting held in Hyderabad included presentations from Dr. Dame Cally Palmer on current cancer trends and challenges from a G20 perspective, as well as insights from Paulo Cezar Schutz on the G20’s role in accessible healthcare as Brazil prepares for its upcoming presidency.

Around 200 delegates from G20 countries attended this meeting, providing a vibrant platform for global discussions. Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, co-convenor of the meetings, expressed excitement for the official launch of the G20 Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Summit series in Delhi.

As India prepares for the G20 presidency, the aim is to showcase its technological prowess and potential for groundbreaking advancements. The summits reflect a commitment to reshape global healthcare, making it more accessible and affordable for all, according to Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, CEO of Pulsus.
