A major fire accident occurred at Karachi Bakery’s manufacturing unit in Gaganpahad, Shamshabad. The fire was caused by a gas leak and resulted in 15 severe injuries. Twelve injured individuals were taken to DRDO Apollo Hospital, while three were admitted to Trident Hospital.

The fire happened on Thursday morning at around 10 am in the outskirts of Hyderabad, within Shamshabad RGIA police station limits. The Fire department received a call and sent a fire tender to the spot. By the time they arrived, the fire was already under control. The injured workers, mostly from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, were immediately taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire was a gas leak in the pipeline due to overheating the oven.
