The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, wrote a letter to India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, asking for more medical supplies. A Ukrainian minister visited India and talked about important topics. Last year, Zelensky spoke with PM Modi on the phone about the war in Ukraine and asked for help. Modi wants the war to stop and has spoken to both Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin about it. India is worried about the war because it affects things like food and fuel prices. India hasn’t blamed Russia for starting the war.
