The Telangana Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, announced on Wednesday that the government plans to expand the Yadadri Temple Development Area (YTDA) and increase income sources from the temple town. Currently, there are only seven villages under the YTDA, so the Chief Secretary suggested expanding it further and submitting proposals for this purpose. She also recommended developing the surrounding areas and villages near the temple to increase self-income sources.
During a high level review meeting held at BRKR Bhavan, the Chief Secretary praised the construction of Yadadri Devasthanam and hopes that it will develop similarly to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The meeting also reviewed audit reports of the temple and activities of Shilparamam.
