YSRCP Members of Parliament (MPs) have lodged a complaint with the Central Election Commission (CEC) against the TDP for allegedly adding fake voters in Andhra Pradesh.
On Thursday, YSRCP Parliamentary leader Vijayasai Reddy informed the media that he had filed a complaint with the CEC, providing full evidence.
Reddy stated, “The TDP is illegally collecting caste, religion, and personal information of individuals through the ‘My Party Dash Board’ app, which violates the Representation of People Act. We have informed the EC officials that this data is being stored on a server in New York City, USA. Similar data was collected before under the name of Seva Mitra. We have also filed cases against them for trying to create divisions based on caste.”
The YSRCP MPs also alleged that the TDP had manipulated the voter list by changing family names with a single photograph, resulting in 40,76,580 falsely registered voters in Andhra Pradesh. They claimed that TDP sympathizers from Hyderabad, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha were registered as voters in Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, the MPs accused the TDP of attacking booth level workers who were investigating the case of fake voters.
YSRCP has requested the Election Commission of India to thoroughly investigate these violations, hold those responsible accountable, and take necessary measures to ensure future elections are conducted fairly and transparently, in accordance with established legal frameworks.
