The YSR Congress is using social engineering and booth-level teams as their main strategy to tackle opposition from parties like the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena. The Bharatiya Janata Party may also join forces with the TDP in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Jagan is appealing to voters from marginalized communities to support his party based on the benefits they have received in the last 57 months.

He is emphasizing the “fan symbol” and urging voters to choose YSR Congress on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Jagan is also warning voters that welfare schemes implemented by his government will be scrapped if the opposition parties come to power. The YSR Congress has organized ‘Siddham’ meetings to energize party cadres and prepare them for the upcoming elections.

Jagan has focused on social engineering by appointing candidates from backward classes and weaker sections in key positions. The party has made significant changes in its candidate list for Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies. The YSRCP has also formed booth-level committees with specific roles and responsibilities for each member.

As the election approaches, Jagan hopes to address any discontent among party members who were denied tickets. The TDP is working on seat-sharing agreements with other parties like Jana Sena and the BJP. The YSR Congress expects more crossovers from the opposition after seat-sharing decisions are finalized. The party aims to be fully prepared by the time election notifications are issued, while other parties may face internal conflicts and challenges in coordinating vote transfer between alliance partners.
