Efforts are being made to increase the number of voters in Warangal, according to Warangal district collector P Pravinya. The government has organized various programs called ‘Vote for Sure’ to encourage people to vote. The program has been successful, with over 20,000 young people and 13,000 senior citizens voting in the recent Assembly elections. There are also 14,000 voters with disabilities in the Hanumakonda district, with 600 of them using the option to vote from home. Pravinya urged officials to organize awareness programs to bring more voters to the polling stations. During the 14th National Voters’ Day, Pravinya administered the Voters’ day pledge and awarded officials who worked hard during the Assembly elections. She also distributed EPIC Cards to new voters and honored senior citizens who voted in the recent elections.
