In Vasram Tanda, a small village in the Gangaram forest area of Bijnapally Mandal, Nagarkurnool district, a two-month-old calf was killed in a wild animal attack. The calf belonged to a farmer named Ramudu.

Villagers believe that a leopard was responsible for the attack and informed forest officials. Forest Range Officer Devaraj inspected the site but did not find any signs of a leopard attack. Instead, they suspect that wild dogs might be responsible.

The detailed information will be available once the zoologist’s report is completed. In the meantime, measures are being taken to provide compensation to the farmer for his loss.
