    A heated exchange has occurred between Congress MP Manickam Tagore and BRS working president K T Rama Rao on social media. Tagore sent a defamation notice to KTR in response to alleged defamatory remarks made by KTR in a recent media statement.

    Tagore declared on social media that he has sent a defamation notice to KTR and mentioned that if he doesn’t respond in 7 days, they will go to court. He also shared a snapshot of the first page of the defamation notice.

    KTR responded to Tagore’s notice, questioning why he is confused and misdirecting the notices. KTR mentioned that it was Tagore’s colleague Venkat Reddy who had alleged that Revanth Reddy bribed Tagore and bought the PCC president post for Rs 50 Crore. KTR shared a news clipping with the headline “Komatireddy: Manickam Tagore sold TPCC Chief’s post” to support his claim.

    KTR pointed out that Venkat Reddy has not retracted the allegation or provided an explanation. He sarcastically suggested that Tagore redirect the defamation notice to Venkat Reddy.
