    A photo exhibition was inaugurated in Hyderabad by Rajya Sabha MP Santhosh Kumar to celebrate World Photography Day. The exhibition showcases photographs by Telangana photojournalists, covering various subjects like news, festivals, and development.

    MP Santhosh Kumar, who is also a photographer, expressed his happiness to be a part of the event. He praised the power of photography as a medium to capture and share stories. He was impressed by the work exhibited by the photographers and announced a donation of Rs. 2 lakh to the Telangana Photojournalists Association. He also promised to work towards gaining more government support for photojournalists.

    The Media Academy Chairman, Allam Narayana, mentioned that the exhibition is an annual event to celebrate World Photography Day. He thanked the photographers for their contributions and highlighted the opportunity to showcase the talent of Telangana’s photojournalists.

    MLA Kranti Kiran and Culture Department Director Mamidi Harikrishna also showed their support for the photographers. They assured that the government would actively promote photography in the state.

    The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 am to 8 pm until August 20.
