    The University College of Commerce and Business Management at Osmania University recently held a workshop on “Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation”. Professor Ch Sailu, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology at OU, emphasized the importance of outcome-based education for students. This includes having the right knowledge and skills, effective teaching methods, understanding the purpose of education, the learning process, and conducting research. The workshop also discussed the role of teachers in preparing students for success in the current era of ‘Education 4.0 – Industrial Revolution’. Additionally, the impact of continuous internal assessment and evaluation, classroom assessment, and action plans were discussed.

    Professor B Reddya Naik, the OSD to the Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the need for ‘Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation’. He emphasized that critical thinking skills are crucial in the 21st century and that assessment should focus on overall student development in society.
