A training program on how to make LED tube lights was held at the National High School in Nagarkurnool. This event was organized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change from New Delhi. The main goal of the program was to teach students about living sustainably. This means learning ways to reduce harm to the environment, save natural resources, and lower pollution, waste, and CO2 emissions. The initiative also aimed to promote social and economic growth while improving the overall quality of life.

The Telangana State Green Core, along with the District Education Department, arranged a one-day workshop for students from 50 different schools. A total of 100 students attended, with two students from grades 8 and 9 representing each school. The workshop took place at the National High School, where students learned how to assemble their own LED tube lights, which were about 2 feet long. After the workshop, the students were allowed to take the LED tube lights home. There was also a session where students learned about composting methods.
