The construction of a new diaphragm wall at the Polavaram irrigation project will begin tomorrow. This marks an important step forward in the progress of the project. To ensure better strength and durability, the Central Water Commission has approved the use of T-5 plastic formula-based concrete for this critical structure.

The Bhawar Company, which is responsible for the construction, has already made all necessary preparations. Machinery and materials required for the work have been arranged at the site. Representatives from the company have confirmed that everything is ready to start the construction on time.

The new diaphragm wall is designed to meet essential structural needs and improve the overall efficiency of the Polavaram project. This move highlights the government’s commitment to speeding up the completion of this significant multi-purpose project, which is crucial for addressing the region’s agricultural and drinking water demands.
