    Turkapalli, June 17: Punjab State Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur praised the Dalit Welfare Program being implemented by Chief Minister KCR in Telangana in a unique way in the country. She visited Vasalamarri village, a model village in Turkapalli Mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, on Saturday. She inspected the unit files of Dalit beneficiaries in the village. She visited each unit in the village. She also discussed the financial condition of the Dalit beneficiaries and the current economic situation. After visiting the Dalit unit, she expressed her satisfaction that the beneficiaries are earning between Rs.40 to Rs.50 per month and explained it to her.

    Speaking on the occasion, Baljeet Kaur said that the families of Dalit beneficiaries are economically empowered. She said that she came here to study this program and entered it to achieve economic prosperity for Dalit families. She also mentioned that she has been impressed by the direction that Punjab is also implementing this program. The officials of Punjab state, Ramesh Kumar, Jaspreet Singh, Jagdish Sharma, Telangana Nodal Officer Ashish Kutiria, and Kishan from the State Scheduled Caste Development Branch were present.
