In Mancherial, Government Advisor Harikara Venugopal Rao opened the Indira Mahila Shakti Canteen. This new canteen is located at the Integrated District Office Complex in Naspur, Mancherial district and was inaugurated on Thursday. The project was funded through a loan of Rs 6 lakh under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme.
During the event, Venugopal Rao highlighted the government’s efforts to support women’s financial growth through the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme. He encouraged women to use this opportunity to become financially independent and improve their economic status.
Additionally, Venugopal Rao announced that services like photocopying, lamination, and stationery will be offered at the Me-Seva center as part of the Mahila Shakti scheme. He also recommended that members of gram sabhas and mahila samakhyas perform regular audits of their organizations to ensure proper functioning.
The event saw the presence of several officials, including District Collector Kumar Deepak, District Forest Officer Shiv Ashish Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police A Bhaskar, and others.
