    The total number of voters in Andhra Pradesh as of October 27, 2023, is 4,02,21,450, according to the draft electoral rolls released by Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena. In the draft rolls, there were more women voters than men, with 2,03,85,851 women voters and 1,98,31,791 men voters. There were also 3,808 transgender voters. Among the total electorate, there were 68,158 service voters. Ananthapuram had the highest number of voters with 19,79,775, while Alluri Sitarama Raju district had the lowest number with 7,40,857 voters.

    The CEO stated that voter list revision was conducted from January 6 to August 30, 2023, during which 21,18,940 voters were removed. In August, a door-to-door survey identified 2,51,767 voters with zero door numbers and more than 10 voters in 1,57,939 houses. A special drive was conducted to reduce the number of voters and houses with more than 10 voters. The number of voters was reduced to 66,740 and the number of houses was reduced to 71,581.

    Due to the freezing of the Roll on September 18, the process for the remaining houses was not completed and will be taken up again in a campaign mode. Eligible youth who turn 18 years old on April 1, 2024, July 1, 2024, or October 1, 2024 can file their applications for enrollment. The last date for receiving claims and objections was December 9, 2023.
