    An awareness program on financial literacy for women was organized by the Gautami Rural Development Trust in Godavarikhani. The event was attended by women who are currently undergoing training for free sewing and skill development.

    District Women Empowerment and Financial Literacy S Sandhya was the chief guest at the program. Sandhya emphasized the importance of providing women with financial literacy skills. She also discussed current injustices, the education of girls, and the empowerment of women.

    Sandhya encouraged women to take advantage of government schemes at both the Central and State levels. She highlighted the importance of skills like personal financial management, budgeting, and investment. Additionally, she provided information about services like Sakhi, Anganwadi, and child helpline toll-free numbers.

    At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to the women who participated.
