Wipro, a well-known IT company, is planning to open a new office in Gopanpally, located in Hyderabad’s Financial District. This announcement was made after a meeting between Wipro’s Chairman, Rishad Premji, and the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, in Davos.
The new office is expected to create jobs for 5,000 people, both directly and indirectly. This means many individuals will benefit from employment opportunities because of this project. It is estimated that the office will take about two to three years to become fully operational.
During the discussions, Rishad Premji expressed Wipro’s interest in collaborating with the Telangana government to introduce innovative ideas and create more opportunities for the people in the region.
The Industries Minister of Telangana, D. Sridhar Babu, also urged Wipro to contribute to skill development initiatives. He requested the company to support training programs for young people in the state and to assist in the growth of the Young India Skills University, a special institute focused on skill-building.
