Peddapalli parliamentary seat in Karimnagar district is heating up as Congress announces Gaddam Vamsi as their candidate against Koppula Eshwar from BRS and Gomasa Srinivas from BJP.
Congress has won seven Assembly seats in this constituency, which is known for its coal belt area. Vamshi was finally chosen as the candidate after many names were considered for the ticket.
Vamshi graduated from Purdue University in 2010 and worked his way up to Joint Managing Director at Visakha Industries. His grandfather, Gaddam Venkataswamy, was a prominent leader in Peddapalli Parliament. Koppula Eshwar is contesting from BRS and Gomase Srinivas is the BJP candidate.
Eshwar is expected to benefit from his long political experience and reputation as a labour leader in the coal belt area. Srinivas, on the other hand, is riding on the BJP wave and hopes to secure votes from Modi’s popularity and the Netakani social class.
Vamshi hopes that his family’s legacy in the Peddapalli constituency will help Congress secure victory. Each candidate brings their own strengths and experience to the race, making it an interesting contest for the upcoming election.
