Water supply in many areas of Hyderabad will be interrupted for 24 hours from July 4 to 5. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) is conducting repair work at the Peddapur substation. This work includes replacing a 132KV breaker, control, and relay panel, as well as overhauling the isolator at the 132KV Kandi substation.

The emergency power shutdown will begin at 7 am on July 4 and end at 7 am on July 5. As a result of this shutdown, areas such as Shaikpet, Nallagandla, Chandanagar, Huda Colony, Hafeezpet, Manikonda, Narsingh, Manchirevula, and more will experience a lack of water supply during this period.
