Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya is well-known for his active and energetic presence on the field. His fitness regime is nothing new for his fans, and during the first match against Australia in the Wankhede Stadium on March 17th, he caught everyone’s attention by doing some reps of pushups while preparing for his spell. This is not the first time that Pandya has been seen performing pushups, as he often updates his social media followers about his fitness routine.

Pandya captained India in place of Rohit Sharma and won the toss, deciding to bowl first in the first match against Australia. India played with four fast bowlers, including Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammed Siraj. Kuldeep Yadav also secured a place in the playing XI.

After a successful four-match Test series against Australia, India is now all geared up to face the visitors in the three-match ODI series starting on March 17th. With the ODI World Cup taking place later this year in India, Steve Smith and his team will be giving their best to win the series, while the hosts will continue to put up a tough fight.

During the match, despite losing an early wicket in the form of Travis Head, his partner Mitchell Marsh helped his team get off to a swift start by scoring some quick boundaries, taking the score to 91 for two until 15 overs. Both Pandya and Siraj took one wicket each. It is worth noting that this is the fourth time that Pandya has dismissed Steve Smith in an ODI.
