A controversy has emerged at the TG Model School and Girls’ Hostel in Amadabakul village, Kothakota mandal. Villagers noticed suspicious activity around the hostel late at night, with vehicles arriving at odd hours over the past few days.

On Monday night, the concerned villagers identified a two-wheeler at the scene. After investigating, they discovered that the hostel warden was allegedly involved in an inappropriate relationship with a local man named Ravi. According to the villagers, the warden had engaged in physical relations with Ravi on the hostel premises multiple times. It was also claimed that the warden had threatened both the hostel girls and the villagers to keep quiet about the incidents.

The villagers reported the issue to Mandal Education Officer (MEO) Krishnayya, who took immediate action by suspending the warden. Locals are demanding strict action to avoid such incidents in the future and are urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

Village sarpanch Buchanna, along with residents like Vinay and Vikram, stressed the importance of accountability and corrective measures. When questioned, the MEO confirmed that the District Education Officer (DEO) had been informed and officially sanctioned the warden’s suspension.

However, the villagers suspect that higher officials might already have been aware of the situation. They noted that people had been arriving at the hostel late at night for months, and officials seemed to have ignored the issue. Locals are now questioning the integrity of the officials, as they believe suspensions alone are not enough to address the problem.

Parents of the hostel girls, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds, expressed their disappointment and concern over the administration’s handling of the situation. They had trusted the school and hostel to take care of their children.

When asked about the investigation, GCDO Subbalakshmi admitted to conducting an inquiry but said she had passed her findings to the DEO and could not provide further details. Villagers remain sceptical, pointing out that similar investigations in the past have not led to significant action.

The locals are now urging the District Collector to conduct a comprehensive investigation to get to the bottom of the issue. They believe that only a transparent inquiry can reveal the truth and bring justice to the students. They are calling for immediate action to stop the TG Model School from using fear tactics to suppress such incidents in the future.
