The Congress party accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of hurting the reputation of Warangal district. Warangal DCC president Errabelli Swarna and Hanumakonda DCC president Naini Rajender Reddy spoke to reporters near a new hospital being built at the Warangal Central Prison. They said that the Chief Minister tried to make Warangal less important by dividing it into six districts.

Swarna criticized the government for destroying the 135-year-old Warangal Central Prison. She also asked about loans taken from Bank of Maharashtra and demanded answers about unfulfilled promises for double bedroom houses and underground drainage.

Naini criticized the government for not building a central jail near Mamnoor as promised. He also said that KCR has not given Rs 100 crore to Osmania and Gandhi hospitals in Hyderabad, as he promised.
