The president of Paryavarana Parirakshana Ikya Vedika, K Purushotham, spoke to students at Kadipikonda High School near Kazipet about the importance of caring for the environment. He emphasized that it is crucial to teach children about environmental awareness from a young age. Purushotham also mentioned that flora and fauna are essential for ecological balance and the well-being of humans. Y V Ganesh, a revenue officer, added that forests are disappearing rapidly, which threatens the habitat of many species and puts water reserves at risk. He urged people to plant trees on government lands to combat this issue. Paryavarana Parirakshana Ikya Vedika plans to organize a plantation drive on such lands. The event was attended by other members of the organization, as well as the school headmaster and teachers.
