    Warangal sees decrease in nominated posts allocation

    Warangal district had a significant number of State-level Corporation chairman posts in the BRS Government. At one point, 10 out of 39 State-level Corporation chairperson posts were held by leaders from undivided Warangal.

    In the recent government appointments, 6 chairmanship posts were allotted to Warangal out of 37 statewide posts. Former MP Sircilla Rajaiah was made chairman of the Telangana State Finance Commission by the Congress leadership last month.

    Other notable appointments include Janga Raghava Reddy, former chairman of Warangal DCCB, who is now Chairman of the Telangana State Cooperative Oilseeds Growers’ Federation Limited. All India Adivasi Congress vice chairman Tejavath Bellaiah Naik was appointed chairman of Girijan Cooperative Finance Development Corporation.

    TPCC official spokesperson Md Riaz is now the State Grandhalaya Parishad chairman, while Jayashankar Bhupalpally district Congress president Aitha Prakash Reddy has been entrusted with the chairman post of the Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation Limited.

    Engala Venkatrami Reddy secured the important post of Kakatiya Urban Development Limited chairman after sacrificing the Parkal assembly ticket for Revuri Prakash Reddy. KUDA, responsible for projects like ORR and Kaloji Kalakshetram, is also managed by Venkatrami Reddy.
