    Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy inaugurated the statue of Panduga Sayanna in Wanaparthy district. He spoke about the importance of passing down the spirit of festivity and struggle to future generations. Around 25,000 people from the district witnessed this event.

    The minister also announced that the government had allocated Rs 2 crores for the construction of Fishermen Bhavan in Wanaparthy. The foundation stone for the building will be laid on October 5th.

    Legislative Council Member Banda Prakash Mudiraj talked about the significant changes in Palamuru and the role of irrigation water in transforming the region. He appreciated Chief Minister KCR’s initiatives, such as providing free fish seeds to fishermen in 2015 and giving vehicles to Mudiraj community members who applied. CM KCR has also offered insurance cover and allocated ponds and tanks for fishermen.

    Mudiraj leaders have played an active role in Telangana’s politics and have a strong legacy. The focus on fish farming and historical significance in Palamuru were also highlighted.

    This event demonstrated the government’s support for the Mudiraj community, their economic empowerment, and their cultural heritage.
