Wanaparthy District:
District Collector Adarsh Surabhi announced the Prajapalana Vijayotsava Kala Yatra, a special event to celebrate one year of development and welfare programs in the district. The event will take place from November 19 to December 7, following the government’s orders.
On Tuesday, Additional Collector of Local Bodies, Sanchit Gangwar, and Additional Collector of Revenue, G. Venkateshwarlu, along with the District Civil Relations Officer, officially launched the Kala Yatra from the IDOC premises.
The District Collector explained that the event is organized by the District Civil Relations Office and the Department of Culture. Artists from the Telangana Cultural Department will perform 57 programs in total, with three programs happening each day during the event. These programs are designed to raise awareness of the government’s development and welfare schemes.
The Kala Yatra will follow a set schedule and aim to inform the public about the achievements of the government. Additionally, a large art exhibition will be held on December 6, organized by the Antaadula Nagaraju Kala Team from the State Cultural Department, specifically in Wanaparthy district.
The Collector urged everyone to support and ensure the success of the cultural programs, which will be held in villages, mandals, and municipalities throughout the district.
Several officials, including District Civil Relations Officer P. Sitaram, DPO Suresh, District Welfare Officer Lakshmamma, AO Bhanu Prakash, and artists from the Cultural Department, were present at the event.
