    Wanaparthy Civil Judge urges public to stay alert against cyber crimes

    Cyber crimes are increasing, and criminals are using people’s greed for quick money to their advantage. Many individuals lose money from their bank accounts by logging into unknown websites out of curiosity or desire for profit.

    To raise awareness about such crimes, the District Legal Services Authority organized a legal awareness seminar for students at Mahatma Jyothibapule Welfare College in Wanaparthy. The event took place on Thursday, and Senior Judge V. Rajani, who is also the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, attended as the chief guest.

    During the seminar, Judge Rajani explained the role of the District Legal Services Authority in educating people about legal matters. She discussed important laws such as the Child Marriage Act, the POCSO Act, the Motor Vehicle Act, and the Child Labor Act to help students understand their significance.

    She also warned students about the dangers of clicking on unknown links while playing video games on mobile phones. Hackers use such tricks to steal money from their parents’ bank accounts. Additionally, she informed attendees that free legal advice is available by calling the toll-free number 15100.

    As exams are approaching, Judge Rajani encouraged students to study with discipline and aim for good results. The event was attended by Deputy Lord’s Uttaraiah School Principal Megha, along with teachers and students.
