Sanath Nagar is a densely populated area in Hyderabad. It is known for its small and medium scale chemical, pharma, and industrial businesses, as well as residential colonies. Czech Colony is the largest residential colony in the area, with a history dating back to the Nizam era. This area is part of the Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, and it includes landmarks like Sanathnagar, Ameerpet, SR Nagar, Padmarao Nagar, Monda Market, Balkampet, Pan Bazar, and General Bazar.

In the upcoming election, the Congress party is looking to win this constituency. They were once strong in Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency but have not been in power since 2014. The BJP also wants to test its chances in this constituency. Many candidates are competing for a ticket from this constituency and have already started campaigning in slum areas.

The voters in this constituency have mixed opinions about the current MLA, Srinivas Yadav. Some believe that he has carried out developmental activities in the area, while others are unhappy, especially in areas like Monda Market which is in poor condition despite promises of renovation. The voters want leaders who will work rather than make empty promises.
