District Collector VP Gautham visited various mandals in Khammam district to inspect ongoing development works. He first went to Banigandlapadu in Yerrupalem mandal to check the construction of a primary health center. Then, he visited Kasturba Gandhi School, where he talked to students and checked classrooms and toilets.
The Collector also inspected the store room to examine the condition of eggs, vegetables, and other food items. He had lunch with the students at the school. After that, he went to Kammampadu mandal parishad school to inaugurate renovated facilities as part of the Mana Ooru – Mana Badi program. He encouraged the students to make use of the facilities and excel in their studies and extracurricular activities.
The program was attended by ZP Chairman L Kamal Raj, Assistant Collector Myank Singh, District Educational Officer Somashekar Sharma, Tasildhar Venkateswarlu, MPDO Selor Sohab, MEO Prabhakar, and others.
