Union Minister of Culture and Tourism and DoNER, Kishan Reddy talked about the recent advancements in the Indian Railways, especially in Telangana. He mentioned the introduction of three Vande Bharat trains last year, connecting different cities including Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam, Kacheguda to Yesvantpura, and Tirupati to Secunderabad. The second Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam is the fourth such train in Telangana.

The new train aims to offer fast connectivity options for passengers traveling in either direction during morning, afternoon, or evening. Kishan Reddy highlighted the progress of the railway manufacturing unit in Kazipet and the ongoing redevelopment of Secunderabad railway station. He stated that 20% of the redevelopment works have been completed, with the Cherlapally railway terminal nearing completion.

South Central Railway general manager Arun Kumar Jain reported over 100% patronage on the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Vande Bharat train, with increasing numbers in December, January, and March. Due to the rising demand, the second Vande Bharat train was launched. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy participated virtually in the program.
