    Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has been recognized as one of the world’s top universities for studying 14 different subjects. This ranking was announced in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.

    For the first time, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been ranked among the top 100 subjects worldwide. This marks a significant achievement for the institution.

    VIT’s performance in this ranking shows a positive trend. Four subjects have improved their rankings, eight subjects have maintained their positions, and two subjects have entered the rankings for the first time. This highlights VIT’s dedication to academic excellence and research in various fields.

    The 2025 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject was released on Wednesday. The rankings are based on five key factors: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, H-index, and international research network (IRN).
