In Visakhapatnam city, there was a horrific incident where some attackers broke into the house of an officer and brutally killed him. This happened in Kommadi, which is located on the National Highway passing through the City.
According to the police, the assailants forcibly entered the house of Chinnagadili Rural Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) Ramanaiah at midnight. They attacked him with iron rods, causing severe injuries. When a watchman raised an alarm, the attackers fled the scene, leaving Ramanaiah in a pool of blood.
Ramanaiah’s family rushed him to a hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The Commissioner of City Police, Dr Ravishankar Ayyannar, visited the scene of the crime. The police have deployed CLUES teams and sniffer dogs to help identify the assailants. The case is currently under investigation.
