    A zookeeper in Visakhapatnam was tragically killed by a bear at Indira Zoological Park on Monday. The zookeeper, Banavarapu Nagesh, had been working at the zoo for two years through the Visakha Welfare Society. He went to the bear enclosure and went missing. The security guard found him unconscious with serious injuries to his head and left hand. Nagesh was taken to King George Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The higher authorities were informed of the incident and a compensation of Rs 10 lakh was announced. The bear, named Jihwan, was brought from Mizoram.
