Virender Sehwag Criticizes Prithvi Shaw and Advises Him to Learn from His Mistakes for IPL 2023

In a recent match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag criticized Prithvi Shaw for his dismissive shot against Gujarat Titans. This was the second time Shaw was dismissed for single digits in the ongoing IPL 2023. Sehwag stated that Shaw had been dismissed in a similar manner several times and seems to not learn from his mistakes. He also reminded Shaw about his peers who are playing international cricket for India and he is still struggling to make a comeback. Sehwag emphasized the importance of consistency in IPL scores and urged Shaw to make the most of this platform. In the match, Gujarat Titans defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets to make it two wins out of two games. Chasing 162, Gujarat Titans were 54/3 inside the powerplay but Sai Sudharsam anchored the chase with a fighting 48-ball 62 not out. Earlier, Gujarat Titans came up with a disciplined bowling effort to restrict Delhi Capitals to 162/8.
