    Violence erupts in Andhra Pradesh following elections: Peace disrupted by attacks, counter-attacks, and police intervention

    Violence erupted in different parts of Andhra Pradesh following the recent elections. In Tirupati, YSRCP activists attacked the convoy of TDP candidate Pulivarthi Nani. They damaged his car and injured his gunman. TDP leaders blamed YSRCP candidate Mohit Reddy for the attack.

    In Kuchivaripalli, followers of Mohith Reddy allegedly attacked villagers, injuring eight people. In retaliation, TDP activists chased away YSRCP candidates and damaged their vehicles. Both TDP and YSRCP properties were damaged in the chaos.

    In Karampudi, supporters of YSRCP leaders Ramakrishna Reddy and Venkatarami Reddy attacked TDP supporters’ houses and properties. They caused chaos in the village by attacking anyone in sight, damaging the local TDP office and burning a car belonging to a TDP leader.

    In Tadipatri, violence continued with more vehicles being damaged and activists getting injured. YSRCP leader Pedda Reddy was accused of leading the attack on TDP leader Suryamuni. Pedda Reddy had been under house arrest by the police earlier.
