State Planning Board vice president Boinapally Vinod Kumar and Husnabad MLA V Satish Kumar have stated that the State government is dedicated to developing villages in Hyderabad. They made these remarks while laying the foundation stone for a bridge in Suraram village and unveiling a statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar at Elkaturthi Mandal center.
Vinod Kumar highlighted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is specifically focused on village development. He emphasized that the formation of Telangana as a separate state was made possible due to Ambedkar’s constitution. Vinod Kumar also mentioned that the Telangana government is continuously working towards the development of Gram Panchayats to achieve Gram Swarajya, as envisioned by Gandhi. He acknowledged Ambedkar’s efforts in uplifting the lower-class people and nation-building, stressing that his contributions should not be forgotten.
Satish Kumar praised Telangana for its unique development and welfare programs. He explained that the government plans to construct social welfare buildings such as Vaikunthadhamals, rural nature forests, and dumping yards in villages. Satish Kumar recalled how CM KCR installed the world’s tallest 125 feet statue of Ambedkar in Hyderabad and named the state secretariat after him. Additionally, the two leaders announced a grant of Rs. 20 lakh for the construction of the village panchayat building at Elkaturthi Mandal center. They urged the people to unite and work together for the development of their villages.
